The Game
Sifu is an action adventure beat ‘em up video game developed by the French Studio Sloclap. In this third-person perspective videogame you will impersonate a Kung fu student, who is seeking for vengeance against five assassins who brutally murdered your family. To survive to all your opponents you will use your Kung fu and a talisman, this last magical object give you the possibility to revive you from fatal injuries, with the downside to age a specific number of years…
The Fight
The game is set in a modern Chinese city and focused on fighting, which are inspired by Jackie Chan movies and the Pak Mei Kung fu style. The tremendous work on the fights was possible thanks to a real Pak Mei Sifu, Benjamin Colussi, who studied the art of lighting hands in Foshan (China) and spread this ancient style of Kung fu all over the world with his videos and through his Pak Mei school in Paris.
The Live-Action
Last week, the youtube channel RivenX3i launched an exclusive live action short video about Sifu. This official adaptation was a really original way to introduce the game and increase the hype for the videogame.
