Let’s try Karate Kid for Christmas. The Christmas holiday season is around the corner and a Karate Kid game seems to be the perfect idea for a present.
The success of the Cobra Kai series brought the game companies to develop some video games during these years. Here is what we have after four years of Cobra Kai:
Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues
Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues is a side scrolling beat ’em up based on the Cobra Kai series.
Besides the quality of the gameplay, to have a true video games that follows the adventures of the Cobra Kai and Miyagi-do dojo is impressive.
With eight playable characters including Sam, Tory, Robby, Miguel, Demetri, Hawk and the two sensei Daniel and Johnny, the characterization of the squad is detailed and deserving of attention.
Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising
Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising is the direct sequel of Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues. This new chapter improves all what the first chapter has to improve: expanding the areas, the playable characters, the gameplay and adding the innovative recruiting students mechanic.
Despite the first game, which follows its own original story, Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising is based on Season 3 and 4 of the Cobra Kai series.
The Karate Kid: Street Rumble
The Karate Kid: Street Rumble tributes the first three Karate Kid movies follows a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge gameplay and style.
Choosing between Daniel LaRusso, Mr. Miyagi and Daniel’s love interest Ali Mills and Kumiko, you will go throught a dozen levels across Reseda (California), Okinawa and the All Valley Karate Tournament.
