Goodbye old master. One of the most influential mangaka of all time is gone at age of 68 years old, Akira Toriyama was the creator of Dr. Slump Arale, Dragon Quest and Dragon Ball.
Summoning the dragon
Goku has lost his bright star, just like many manga and anime lovers. Dragon Ball is a manga of the 1984 transposed as anime in 1986. The huge success of both the manga and the anime series, brought the author to draw the adventure of Goku in two other series: Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. With Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama has inspired generations of people to become comic artists and to protect what they love the most.
Dragon Ball is one of the most original and best examples of fights that you can find in the Japanese animation, this kind of techniques that use “Ki” energy have influenced drastically all the following manga and comics around the world.
For this purpose I have chosen my favorite fights from the Dragon Ball universe:
Goku vs Frieza
The king battle for the faith of the universe between Goku, the ultimate Saiyan warrior of earth and Frieza the main antagonist of the Saiyan population. After the death of his best friend Krillin, Goku unleashed his rage and transforms for the first time into super Saiyan.
Goku vs Kefla and Kale
In the tournament of power the strongest warriors from eight out of the twelve universes are participating in battle in which how loses will have their universe erased from existence. Kefla and Kale, two Saiyans from universe 6 encounter Goku and challenge him.
Goku vs Jiren
The last two fighters of the tournament of power left are Goku and Jiren, this two warriors overcome the limit of power in order to save his own universe.
Gogeta and Vegeta vs Broly
Goku and Vegeta encounter the legendary Super Saiyan and his rage, only the most powerful fusion can defeat the exiled warrior.
Goodbye old master, thank you to let us dream during all these years. What are your best memories of Dragon Ball? And your favorite character?
