Who is Eric Jacobus?

Eric Jacobus like many other martial artists in the movie industry, works as actor and stuntman, but he does not stop there. His talent let him work as motion capture performer for important game series like mention before God of War and Mortal Kombat, but also: Mafia III, Spider-man and the new XCOM2 – War of the Chosen. Eric Jacobus works also as action designer, creating and directing many action scenes always  for the movie and game industry.

Even was already pretty known for the high quality of his stunts and short martial art movies, the turning point of Eric Jacobus popularity was his homonymous youtube channel, and in particular his movelist playlists… Has it ever happened to play for so long to a fighting game and using one of your friends as punchbag, in an attempt to replicating the moves of a character? Well… To Eric happened, and the game was Tekken

Personal style

Talking about is martial art background, he really mix very different styles in order to be a complete fighter, in fact he masters: Taekwondo, Boxing, Hapkido, Iaido, Kali and many more. In his movies (but also every time he find the opportunity) in addition to his fighting skills, Eric Jacobus shows a funny and humoristic personality, that recalls the great Jackie Chan. The short films “Blindsided: The Game” and “Groundhog Day Battle – Rope A Dope –Wake, Fight, Repeat” are examples of the Eric’s humor and fighting style.
