Cynthia Rothrock is more than a celebrity in the martial art panorama, this beautiful and lethal woman holds black belts in several popular martial art styles, including: Taekwondo, Wushu, Northern Shaolin and in other more refined martial arts like: Eagle Claw and Tang Soo Do (made popular by Chuck Norris). In this last one Cynthia gained a 8th degree black belt, being the inspiration for the women in the martial art competition world circuit.

Her path to the martial art movie industry was made in the big production of Hong Kong in the 80ies, by taking part in movies like Yes, Madam, The Magical Crystal and Righting Wrongs, co-starring with Michelle Yeoh, Yuen Biao and Sammo Hung. Her incredible skills were promoted also in the USA with movies like China O’Brien and Martial Law. If her golden age were indeed the late 80ies, Cynthia Rothrock never stopped to make movies, continuing delivering true action scene at the venerable age of 67 years.
Cynthia Rothrock is an example of perseverance, strength and passion, a true icon who breaks time and space continuing to inspire generations of martial artists around the globe.
