Bill Kills World

Bill Kills World. The actor Bill Skarsgard manages to transform himself in a lethal weapon in Boy Kills World, a dystopian action comedy full of martial arts!

Killing the world

This little masterpiece produced by Sam Raimi and directed by Moritz Mohr in his directorial debut is a perfect mix of madness and violent action. If the plot seems linear and nothing depth at a first sight, regarding a deaf-mute boy, who is seeking vengeance against the executioner of his family, the movie has instead a lot to offer.

Comedy

During the entire movie Boy is talking through his thoughts, presented as inner voice derived from a childhood video game, combined with Skarsgard expressions, it really builds hilarious moments. The ludic element is well represented during the entire movie, damping the blood and the violence of the action scenes into something less tragic.

Violence

The action scenes are really good, Bill Skarsgard was trained by one of the best martial art choreographer of the planet, Dawid Szatarski, expert of Kung fu, Taekwondo, Muay Thai and Filipino martial arts. The true martial art star however is the great Yayan Ruhian, who is playing Boy’s mentor and is giving to the action scenes of the movie his unique Pencak Silat signature. Andrew Koshi is also in the movie as a member of the resistance, but unfortunately he doesn’t show his martial art skills during the film, like in his popular series Warrior

Boy Kills World really did shake the martial art movie industry, making a very good impression also to the general public, so much that a videogame inspired by the movie just launched with the title of Super Dragon Punch Force 3 (the sequel of the console played by Boy and his sister). A cartoon following the events of the movie is also in the works!
