Feeling the force with Ahsoka. The long awaited Star Wars spinoff Ahsoka restores the name of the lightsaber to its former glory, in a first season full of duels.
The Togruta Padawan
The name Ahsoka Tano is very well known to all the Star Wars fans and all over the galaxy. The character was created for the 3D animation movie Star Wars: The Clone Wars long time ago, in 2008, which success brought her to deepening his adventures in the eponymous series and in the other 3D animated Star Wars series par excellence Star Wars: Rebels. The live action Ahsoka instead is played by Rosario Dawson in the Mandalorian and the Book of Boba Fett series, before taking up the lightsabers in her own miniseries Ahsoka!
A new adventure
The series Ahsoka do not tells the past of its protagonist except through memories, but even don’t know anything of the beloved Togruta master, the series is very enjoyable, as we follow Ahsoka and her friends in a brand new adventure. Notable characters in the series along the master Ahsoka are: Ahsoka’s apprentice Sabine Wren, the new Republic general Hera Syndulla and the jedi Ezra Bridger. Do not forget to mention the dark jedi Baylan Skoll and his apprentice Shin Hati, who are responsible to feature the great fighting of this season.
An old appearance
In Ahsoka we have the honor to see again in an unbelievable cameo the great Darth Vader, or better Anakin Skywalker, that as Ahsoka’s master, appears to her apprentice in the World Between Worlds, in order to finish her training. Very peculiar was to see Hayden Christensen playing Ahsoka’s master and not the Darth Vader seen in the miniseries Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The kenjutsu training of Rosario Dawson was impressive and really gives balance between the two old trilogies and the new series of the popular saga. The critical response says that Ahsoka is following the success of the Mandalorian in its own way and we cannot wait to see more.
