New acquaintances for this 8 of march. Space to some new stunt women that are working hard to get the recognition they deserve.
Another International women’s day has come and with it this time a bunch of new acquaintances. I decided to give some space to skilled women capable to break the screen with their martial arts but not so many are noticing. Here my best three picks of this season:
Maria Tran
Maria Tran is a beautiful Australian actress from Brisbane, who is also martial artist, producer and director. Some martial artists nerd maybe will recognize her, because of her role as coprotagonist in the short Hit Girls, with the famous Juju Chan. Her last fatigue called Operation Kung Flu is directed and produced by Tran. Here instead a 80s Hong Kong action movies tribute from the director Adrian Cadro, starring indeed Maria Tran:
Rogue Origin Films again?
Here we are with an old friend, the youtube channel Rogue Origin Films, that this time is introducing a fight that the Street Fighter fans are going to fall in love. Julia Zhang and Chau Naumova are bringing to life respectively R. Mika and Ibuki. Enjoy this brand new Street Fighter challenge:
Sofia Stunts
Last but not least a girl that is challenging Eric “the king of the Ironfist” Jacobus, with his unbelievable moves recreation of Mortal Kombat. Sofia Stunts is really into games, so check out Warner Bros, because here we have a potential Cassie Cage for Mortal Kombat 2 movie:
