Here we go again with MK Legends, this time in a battle of the realms! The sequel of Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, the big animated movie revelation of the past year, it is here and it rocks. Let’s see then what this new masterpiece is about.

The sequel is here!

Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms is the direct sequel of Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge. The 2020 animated movie focused on Hanzo Hasashi / Scorpion’s revenge story and the participation of the Earth Realm champions to the first Mortal Kombat tournament. This time however, Liu Kang and company will take part to a second Mortal Kombat tournament, in order to prevent future new wars between Earthrealm and Outworld, while Scorpion sets out to find the Kamidogu artefact for Shinnok, meeting the new Sub-Zero.

Protagonist of this new animated movie is Liu Kang, whose destiny as the true champion of the Mortal Kombat Tournament will be accomplished. New battles, old friends

Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms is not following its predecessor only in terms of story, but also for its spirit and brutality. Flawless Victory once again!

The past year, when I wrote about Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, I noticed the quality and the great commitment of the directors and animators, that I was convinced that a new animated series of movies was just born, and I was right. All the people, who worked for this two MK titles were doing perfectly. With Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of The Realms, the MK Legends saga just confirmed its great formula in the best period ever for the entire franchise. Considering that the same Studios will launch Injustice first animated movie next month, I am sure that I will comment a third MK animated movie next year!
