Another hot summer is here, why not cool down with some Keijo? The anime of Hideya Takahashi is the perfect choice for those who want to watch a funny summer sport series with a lot of action and beautiful girls.
A “sports” anime
I discovered Keijo!!!!!!!!‘s anime almost four years ago and I was fascinated about the quality and the seriousness of the project. Keijo!!!!!!!! promotes friendship, endeavor, teamwork and healthy competition through all its series, so it is fair to say that Keijo!!!!!!!! is really one of the best sports manga/anime of the last decades. But having said that, nobody is take this series so seriously because… Well essentially because of the sport that they are playing. In the fictional universe of Keijo!!!!!!!! we are following the poor and newbie Nozomi Kaminashi, a 17 years old girl that is trying to enter to the Keijo professionals. Keijo is a very popular water sport, where girls stand on small floating platforms, trying to bring down their opponents in the swimming pool using only their chests and butt. Yes you have read that right, they are using their chests and butt to take down their opponents and that it is just the beginning.
Wet and furious
In Keijo!!!!!!!! all the sport aspects are inevitably sexy, even if the scene is a very serious one or very important for the plot. It is no secret that the series as well as sports anime, it fits naturally in the “Eroge” genre, the erotic section of the anime. A good example of this duality is the co-protagonist Sayaka, a very composed girl that develops the most indecent moves.

In the Keijo!!!!!!!! series all the players have some special abilities or develop some special techniques during the episodes. Most of this techniques are parodies of very famous signature moves of the greatest anime, for example the “Berserk Mode” of Nozomi remembers Goku’s “Kaio-ken” or the “Ultra Super Butt Festival Duet” of Sayaka recalls Kenshiro’s “Hyakuretsu Ken”. Other techniques are very popular in many anime series like the Hypnosis move of Mio and the copycat skills of Kazane.
Everybody wants more Keijo!!!!!!!!
It is really a pity that this masterpiece is not continuing anymore, the first season meets all the requirements for a second one. In 2016, when Keijo!!!!!!!! launched, it was the most popular anime in nine different states. The Japanese cartoon was so well received that the videogame Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 has a crossover promotion with it and fans in Portugal planned a real Keijo league showing some concept videos.
