A new Season
This new year brought us a new Cobra Kai season, and like always the wait was worth it. We left off on the ultimate confrontation between John Kreese vs Johnny Lawrence and LaRusso. The result was to end conflict once for all with the next All-Valley Karate Tournament, who lose will have to stop teaching Karate and close his dojo.
The union of the styles
The fourth season of Cobra Kai focus in the preparation of the Karate tournament. If in the one hand we have the powerful and improbable alliance of LaRusso and Lawrence, in the other hand we see the return of one of the Cobra, the sensi Terry Silver, who persuaded LaRusso to join the Cobra Kai thirty years earlier. And this season is right about the aspects of the karate styles, remembering that LaRusso and Lawrence are exchanging students and Robby is teaching Miyagi Do techniques to his Cobra Kai mates. With all the students that now know both the karate styles of the saga, the only difference between them are themselves. Why they fight, how much are they training and what lessons did they choose to follow?
All-Valley Tournament 2.0
The response of all these questions and the perfect culmination of the entire season four is the finale, the All-Valley Karate Tournament 2.0, with new rules and new interesting categories. Both the Kumite finals are absolutely well choreographed, a big congratulation to the stunt team that really give the chance to all the cast to shine. If in the end we all expected the final match between Robby and Miguel, this season will surprise you with the best version possible of Hawk, capable to mix both the styles, taking the best of them and make his own art. With the Cobra Kai victorious and LaRusso and Lawrence condemned to close their dojos, it seems that a new era is being born. But the final scenes of the last episode of the season, preannounce a reborn of the Miyagi Do with the help of Chozen Toguchi, and the betrayal of Terry Silver against Kreese.
